A motion was made by Councilwoman O'Brien, seconded by Vice Mayor Hodge Washington, to approve item 100 as presented in the council report excluding the provision authorizing four days per year when fares will not be required to allow for additional time to determine what criteria will be used to identify the proposed four free fare days, understand what the projected revenue impact will be to the City of Phoenix and to work collaboratively with Valley Metro to establish programs that promote ridership. The item will return with an update to the City Council on December 31, 2026.
