Mr. Murray advised plans are moving forward with the fuel station. The double walled tanks are ready, but there has been a delay getting the retail gas pumps and insurance.
Mr. Murray was not present to update the committee on the fuel station progress, but Mr. Atwood advised electrical installation is pending and all issues with the fire marshal have been worked out.
Mr. Murray advised a list of requirements for the fuel station tanks had been provided to him and he is going through those to make sure all equipment would comply.
Mr. Murray advised he needs to meet with City staff again regarding insurance requirements for the fuel station, but he has acquired the fuel tanks and building. He has a meeting set with the fire marshal to review the site plan.
In Mr. Murray’s absence Mr. Broomfield and Mr. Atwood provided a fuel station update. Instead of three conex boxes the design has changed to a single 16’ x 52’ building that can be easily removed. City Council passed both readings and Mr. Murray’s company can proceed with installation. The fuel station must be up and running within 90 days of the signed agreement.
