Hearing
To Be Introduced

Annika Yankee, City Planner, introduced herself as the Committee's new staff liaison. Ms. Yankee presented the 311 report and parking violation report from February; the 311 report from March was handed out; the March parking violation report was not available due to staff being on leave. The Committee discussed a need for more details in the 311 report so that the Committee has a better understanding of the complaint so they can figure out how to help the community. The Committee reviewed what "blocking architectural design" means and would like to know if ADA parking signs have to mention a fine. Ms. Yankee discussed the need for meeting RSVPs by 4 p.m. on the Friday before the meeting so that accommodations can be made without financial penalty. The quorum will also be determined on Fridays before the meeting so that timely cancellations can be made. The Committee's effort to provide budget recommendations and the City's budget calendar were discussed. The Accessibility Subcommittee will develop a memo with specific recommendations for ADA improvements. Regarding Employment Awards, Wilson Goodrich stated that the Committee submitted their recommendation to create this program and awaiting a response.
