The city is ratifying its application for and authorizing acceptance of a state grant of up to $1,200,000 from the Texas Office of the Governor's Criminal Justice Division to fund bullet-resistant components for law enforcement vehicles. A grant agreement, resolution, and appropriation ordinance will also be executed.
