Fort Worth is promoting the 'Lights Out' initiative, urging residents and businesses to turn off nonessential outdoor lights from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. during spring bird migration (March 1–June 15, peak April 22–May 12) to reduce collision hazards for migratory birds.
