Open source →Fort Worth Animal Care & Control is kicking off the new year by bringing adoptable pets back to City Hall. The community is invited to attend the New Year, New Friend adoption event on Wednesday, Jan. 21, where a variety of dogs will be available to meet in the City Hall lobby.
Whether you are looking to take a break from the workday, thinking about adding a new pet to your family or simply wanting to learn more about animal welfare, the event offers an opportunity to connect. FWACC staff will be on site to answer questions and share information about adopting, fostering and volunteering.
The animals featured at City Hall represent only a small portion of the pets currently in FWACC’s care. Residents are also encouraged to visit FWACC’s shelters throughout the week to meet additional adoptable animals in person.
