The Park & Recreation Department’s Rising Stars Youth Leadership Academy, in partnership with the T.O.R.C.H. Teens Program, is hosting the “Every Mind Is Valuable Mental Health Youth Conference” 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Como Community Center, 4660 Horne St.

The free event is designed to provide middle and high school teenagers (ages 12 and up), parents/guardians, educators, and youth and community leaders with strategies and resources to empower and support teens’ mental health and well-being.

Activities include teen and adult workshops and panel discussions. Light breakfast and lunch are included.

Conference registration and/or check-in begins at 10 a.m.
