The City of Fort Worth will host an open house to explore the latest ideas and strategies for the 2050 Comprehensive Plan — the City’s official guide for Fort Worth’s growth and development. The open house will allow residents and business leaders to share their ideas and vision to help shape the future of our community.

Fort Worth 2050 Comprehensive Plan Open House

Monday, May 4

4:30-7 p.m.

City Hall Lobby, 100 Fort Worth Trail

The event will feature an interactive “gallery walk” with opportunities to provide input and connect directly with 2050 Comprehensive Plan consultants and City staff. It will also explore the latest ideas and strategies to guide future growth, insights on the City’s population, and economic trends and scenarios to weigh advantages and disadvantages of different growth patterns. There will be visuals to explore innovative ways to plan for neighborhoods and other special places, as well as a fun “Which Reimagined City Are You?” personality quiz you can take on your phone.

The 2050 Comprehensive Plan is intended to establish a shared vision for the City. It will determine the goals, objectives, strategies and policies to ensure a high quality of life for all community members. And it will be the result of the creative efforts of the community to lay a successful foundation for the future of Fort Worth.

Stop by anytime during the allotted time and plan to spend about 30-40 minutes at the open house.
