The City of Fort Worth will hold a public meeting to educate residents about community flood resilience at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 14, at City Hall, Mezzanine Room 6, 100 Fort Worth Trail.

The meeting will provide an overview of Fort Worth’s Floodplain Management Plan and why it matters to residents. It will also cover the key strategies the City uses to reduce flood risk and protect residents and property.

How floodplains function and why preserving them is critical

Opportunities for residents to share local flooding concerns

How public input shapes future flood‑risk reduction efforts

Residents are asked to attend to help the City identify flood‑prone areas and community priorities, support long‑term planning to improve public safety and ensure a well‑informed, community‑driven update to the plan.
