Most City offices, including City Hall, will be closed Friday, June 19, for the Juneteenth holiday. Emergency services will be available as usual.
Solid waste: Residential collections, including garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulk waste, will operate as usual on June 19. Please place your carts on the curb by 7 a.m. on your normal collection day. In observance of Juneteenth, the four Drop-Off Stations and Environmental Collection Center will be closed on June 19. If you have questions or need assistance, call 817-392-1234.
Animal Care & Control: The Chuck & Brenda Silcox Center at 4900 Martin St. and Henry’s Animal Campus, 351 Hillshire Drive, will be closed June 19, but PetSmart Everyday Adoption Centers at Alliance and Hulen will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Libraries: All Fort Worth Public Library locations will be closed June 19.
Recreational amenities: All community centers, Haws Athletic Center and Log Cabin Village will be closed June 19. Meadowbrook, Rockwood Park and Pecan Valley golf courses, McLeland Tennis Center, Marine Park and Forest Park pools will be open June 19.
Water utility: To access the Water Department’s automated system for payments and account inquiries or to report an emergency, call the 24-hour call center at 817-392-4477.
Public transit: On June 19, Trinity Metro buses and On-Demand paratransit will operate on Sunday schedules. Trinity Metro TEXRail, Trinity Railway Express (TRE) and On-Demand rideshare services will operate on regular schedules. TRE LINK and the CentrePort Circulator will also operate on regular schedules. Phone lines will be open (817-215-8600) from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for customer assistance. The ticket sales kiosk at Fort Worth Central Station will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
