Welcome to your new way to interact, influence and collaborate with the City of Fort Worth. After several months in the making, the engageFW Community Academy is activated … and ready to partner with residents for the next level in community engagement!

Curious how the City works and what it takes to make it tick? Maybe you’ve wondered how your voice can be heard? If you believe knowledge is power, then you’re in the right place for all these answers and more.

What is the Academy?

The engageFW Community Academy is a free initiative from the City’s Community Engagement Office that provides residents with a practical understanding of how the City of Fort Worth operates, how decisions are made, and how residents can meaningfully engage, influence and partner with local government to improve their communities.

Why participate?

The real question is: Why wouldn’t you participate? The Academy engages, educates and equips residents to help shape the future of Fort Worth. Participants also forge connections with other community members, strengthening the fabric of our city. It’s exciting, empowering and fun!

The Academy features five dynamic sessions and two field days with hands-on demonstrations, as well as opportunities to connect with City leadership and staff.

The first cohort begins in September and space is limited — apply today.
