The Fort Worth Public Library will host its free annual Amplify 817 Showcase from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Birdies Social Club, featuring performances by local musicians. Musicians featured on the Library's Amplify 817 streaming service are paid $300 for a three-year license to stream their music on the platform.

Do you love great music and supporting all things local? The Fort Worth Public Library invites you to an evening of great music amongst your neighbors at its annual Amplify 817 Showcase from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Birdies Social Club.

All ages are welcome to attend this celebration of Fort Worth music featuring performances by homegrown musicians Asa Ace, Cameron Smith, David Tribble, Gabby Minton, ItsErnie and Yokyo.

“How great is it to come together every year and celebrate the different stories, voices and perspectives of our city?” Midori Clark, library director, said. “It makes me proud to be a citizen of Fort Worth.”

Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the event. Seating is first-come, first-served.

The Amplify 817 Showcase was created to bring neighbors and community members together to celebrate music made right here in Fort Worth. The featured musicians are part of the Library’s free music streaming service, Amplify 817, which pays them $300 for a three-year license to stream their music free on the platform.
