Grow smarter this fall!
Fall is a great time to rethink your landscape, and Fort Worth Water is bringing back two free community events packed with practical tools, expert advice and water-saving ideas. One event in English. One event in Spanish. Both are designed to help residents create beautiful, resilient landscapes while using water wisely.
YardSmart returns to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden with local experts sharing practical advice for North Texas landscapes. Attendees can learn about bees, fall planting, flowerbeds and ways to make their yards more water-efficient, while connecting with experts and local vendors who can help put those ideas into practice.

Raíces Vivas brings gardening, conservation and Latino culture together in a free event presented entirely in Spanish. Attendees will learn about pollinators, trees of North Texas, herbs and spices, and how to prepare the garden for a new year. Cultural activities and community resources add to a day designed for learning and connecting.
Free trees will also be available to eligible Fort Worth residents while supplies last. Participants interested in receiving a tree must provide a Fort Worth address when registering.
