Fall into autumn with a Spanish-language gardening seminar

Fort Worth Water invites you to Raíces Vivas, a Spanish-language gardening seminar celebrating sustainability and community.
Join us 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Artes de la Rosa (1440 N. Main St.) for hands-on sessions on pollinators, North Texas trees, herbs and prepping for a new gardening year.
This family-friendly event is open to all experience levels. Invite your family and friends and come grow with us!
This fall, Raíces Vivas will also feature a special performance by Ballet Folklórico de Fort Worth Inc., bringing music, color and cultural pride to the event.
Free trees for participants
The Fort Worth Forestry Division will distribute free trees to eligible participants who register for Raíces Vivas and provide their home address during registration.
To qualify, participants must:
Live in Fort Worth.
Own a single-family or two-family home located on a public street.
Have adequate space to plant a tree.
Commit to planting and caring for the tree.
