Ribbon-cutting set for third phase of Stop Six housing

Experience the ribbon-cutting on Babers Manor, the third phase of the housing plan in the Stop Six Choice Neighborhood Initiative. Leaders from the Stop Six neighborhood, the City of Fort Worth and others will celebrate the opening of the multifamily housing community.
Event details: 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 4400 Ramey Ave.
Babers Manor is an 80-unit, mixed-income family community paying tribute to community leader Clarence Donald Babers. The development, situated between South Hughes Avenue and South Edgewood Terrace in Council District 5, includes 51 low-income units and 29 market-rate units.
The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs awarded housing tax credits to help finance project development.
Rendering: Babers Manor construction is complete after two years.
