DALLAS, March 27, 2025 – Visit Dallas is excited to welcome Kathie Parsons as its new Chief Financial Officer. She brings to the destination marketing organization more than three decades of experience in finance and accounting.

Parsons joins the Visit Dallas team after four years with the New York Philharmonic, most recently serving as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer. During her time there, she managed the orchestra’s $90 million in revenue, day-to-day financial operations and information technology.

Before joining the New York Philharmonic, she served as the Chief Financial Officer for the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Prior to that, she worked for BearCom Group, Daisy Brand and GE Capital in various finance and accounting roles.

Parsons will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and management of all financial-related activities for the company, as well as overseeing its compliance and IT-related programs.

Parsons grew up near Buffalo, New York, and has lived in Dallas since 2000. She holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master of Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a specialization in finance.

She will begin her role on May 5.
