“Since moving to Dallas last year, the Dallas Music Office has helped me connect with other artists and the community,” said Carly Tate. “I am truly blessed to get to be a part of the Dallas Sounds Amplified program and to have been so warmly embraced by this city.”

The busking initiative officially launched in January 2025, with auditions opening for musicians to perform across the city from March to December. Modeled after NYC’s MUNY program, this initiative aims to establish and reinforce Dallas as a "Music Friendly City."

“Dallas has been my home for almost 20 years, and I’ve been a part of the music community here since 2016,” said Dev Wulf. “Since joining Dallas Sounds Amplified, I have had the unique opportunity to represent an ever-growing community and be represented by the city that has defined who I am as a musician.”

This project is made possible through partnerships with Mullen & Mullen Music Project, Downtown Dallas Inc. (DDI), Spune and KXT Radio.
