The 1914 Nueces County Courthouse is a six-story Classical Revival building in downtown Corpus Christi, designed by architect Harvey L. Page and built of reinforced concrete with brick facing and terra cotta trim. It housed Nueces County courtrooms, offices, and an upper-floor jail until county operations moved to a new courthouse, after which the building was left vacant. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the Texas Historical Commission later released its preservation easement. It appears in Corpus Christi city proceedings in connection with a downtown development agreement with Nueces County and Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) #3 project and financing plan amendments related to the building's demolition.
