M&C 26-0631 recommends adopting an ordinance amending Chapter 29.5 'Smoking' of the City Code to update the definition of electronic smoking devices to include vaping, lower the retail smoke shop gross annual sales threshold from 90% to 51%, and expand the operating prohibition from 300 feet to 500 feet from schools, universities, hospitals, parks, places of worship, and daycare centers to align with the Zoning Ordinance.
