PD Amendment ZC-26-041
The proposal amended Planned Development District 1420 on about 187 acres along Lon Stephenson Road and Anglin Drive. It added an electrical substation, raised the maximum building height to 70 feet, increased the maximum building setback to 150 feet, and allowed a data center to provide one parking space for every four employees. The City Council approved the amendment by a 7-4 vote.

A request to amend an existing Planned Development zoning district at 5332 Sycamore School Road (0.87 acres) would add retail auto parts supply to the uses allowed on the site, with a site plan included. The district currently allows all uses in the Neighborhood Commercial category except alcohol sales. The applicants include Polished Dimes Real Estate, LLC Series 2011 and AutoZone Parts Inc.
Carmen Chavez Light Industrial Rezoning at Marion Avenue (ZC-26-053)
Carmen Chavez, represented by Kelly Hart & Hallman, LLP, Ray Oujesky and Jeff Whitfield, proposed rezoning 1.14 acres in the 1400 block of Marion Avenue from "A-5" One-Family Residential to "I" Light Industrial. The Zoning Commission had recommended denial of the request. The City Council passed a motion on the case by a vote of 11-0.
