Also known as: LRWSP

The Long Range Water Supply Plan is the City of Dallas's planning document, prepared by Dallas Water Utilities, for meeting the water needs of Dallas and its wholesale customer cities decades into the future. It accounts for population growth, future land use, and the effects of rising temperatures. The plan is periodically updated, and recent updates have been submitted to the Region C Water Planning Group for inclusion in regional and state water plans. It draws on the City's existing lake supplies and on partnerships with regional water agencies.
