The ordinance also approved a service plan for the area and sought its removal from the Emergency Services District. The ordinance passed and was approved on June 30, 2026.

The City of Corpus Christi adopted an ordinance to remove Project 18-V, a proposed beach access road (C1 Collector) between State Highway 361 and the beach, from its Roadway Master Plan of Mobility. The project had been part of the city's comprehensive transportation planning. The city council voted unanimously (9-0) to approve the amendment.

Police Internet Crimes Against Children Grant (26-0714)
The City accepted a $6,372 grant from the Office of the Attorney General's Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention for the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program. The money was set aside in the Police Grants Fund to buy forensic computer equipment and software licenses for the Corpus Christi Police Department. The ordinance passed on June 23, 2026.
