Streams & Valleys Plaza, a new public gathering space along the Trinity River in Trinity Park, has opened through a public-private partnership between the City and the nonprofit Streams & Valleys, funded in part by private donors.

Portions of Trinity Park, including the Dream Park playground, are temporarily closed for Mayfest festival setup (April 30–May 3), with alternative trail detours and a nearby playground remaining open; historically, Mayfest has returned over $7.5 million to the community for park improvements including Trinity Park lighting and trail connections.
