Historic Handley, one of Fort Worth's 12 revitalization target areas, has been selected to join the Texas Historical Commission's First Street initiative, a year-long program offering free education and networking focused on historic preservation and community revitalization. Local leaders plan to use the program to support small businesses, activate public spaces, and redevelop underutilized properties.
