Jun 1: In his CIP update Mr. Atwood advised the contractors working on the Coopers Alley boater’s facility have driven 20 of 47 piles, some going down as far as 75 feet. The new estimated completion date is March 2027. The haul out and office construction project will go to council on June 23rd. Mr. Atwood and staff have already begun speaking with Council members to educate them on the project. The newest CIP is the dredging of the Peoples Street T-head with Type A funds remaining from the A, B, C, D, and L pier project. The RFQ went out and closed on June 1st, the selection process may take up to two months. This project will include dredging of the marina “gap” entrance.
